EMILY SCHULTZ runs the international short story site Joyland.ca. She is also the author of the novel of the same name, Joyland, and of a collection of poetry, Songs for the Dancing Chicken, which was named a finalist for the 2008 Trillium Prize. Her newest novel, Heaven Is Small, will release from House of Anansi Press in 2009.
DANI COUTURE is a poet and fiction writer. Her first book of poetry, Good Meat, was published by Pedlar Press (2006); she has a second collection of poetry forthcoming from Pedlar, The Handbook, and she is working on a novel, Black Bear on Water.
CAREY TOANE is a magazine editor and aspiring poet. Born in Alberta she lived in Scandinavia and the Middle East before returning to Toronto last fall. Her work has been published in CV2, Peter O’Toole – a magazine of one line poems and the Fevered Spring anthology. She is also the host of Toronto poetry and fiction reading series, Pivot at the Press Club.
FAYE GUENTHER is a poet and student. She has read at the I.V. Lounge Reading Series, the Art Bar and Strong Words. Her poems have been published in Maggie Helwig’s litzine, CRASH, and Matthew Holme’s zine, Modomnoc.
